Each Utah health insurance company has a different network of providers, doctors, and hospitals.
- Altius Health Plans primarily uses an independent network of doctors and hospitals, including some of the *Mountain Star hospitals. Altius offers the use of 3,800 doctors and 36 hospitals statewide.
- HumanaOne also uses an independent network of doctors and hospitals, including some of the *Mountain Star hospitals.
- Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield of Utah also uses an independent network of doctors and hospitals, including the *Mountain Star hospitals. Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield of Utah offers the use of 4,083 doctors and 37 hospitals statewide.
- Selecthealth primary uses the Intermountain Healthcare network of providers and hospitals. Most of the Selecthealth plans allow their members to choose from their three networks;
- SelectValue (which allows the insured to use approximately 1,200+ doctors and 10 hospitals, mostly serving areas between Weber and Utah counties)
- SelectMed (which allows the insured to use approximately 3,700+ doctors and 37 hospitals mostly servicing areas between Washington and Cache counties)
- SelectCare (which allows the insured to use approximately 4,700+ doctors and 43 hospitals mostly servicing areas between Washington and Cache counties)
*Mountain Star hospitals include; Brigham City Community Hospital, Ogden Regional Medical Center, Lakeview Hospital, St. Mark's Hospital, Timpanogos Regional Hospital, Mountain View Hospital.
