Supplemental Insurance Plans
If you are not insured with Assurant Health, there are other options, called supplemental plans or hospital indemnity plans that you can sign up for on top of your regular health insurance.
These plans are often the best option and must be purchased before conception in order to pay benefits for maternity. They can cover some or all of the costs you incur, that are not paid for by your health insurance company.
