About Select Health

Select Health has been offering health plans since 1983. There are currently 22 Utah Select Health hospitals statewide. Over 3,400 physicians are associated with Utah Select Health health insurance plans.

There are three different Utah Select Health plans. To find out more about each Select Health health insurance plan, request a quote or contact us. Utah Select Health insurance plans also offer three different doctor networks;

SelectValue (10 hospitals and 1,200+ providers from Utah to Weber counties)

SelectMed (34 hospitals and 3,700+ providers from Washington to Cache counties)

SelectCare (43 hospitals and 4,700+ providers from Washington to Cache counties)

Offering three networks of doctors allows you to adjust your premium by changing the size of the doctor network available to you and your family. The most popular Select Health insurance network is Select Med. The Select Med network stretches from northern Utah to southern Utah along Interstate 15. Find out which networks your doctor is on, by searching for your doctor.

Select Health Utah insurance also allows you to use hospitals that are exclusive to the Utah Select Health health plan, such as LDS Hospital, Cottonwood Hospital, and Alta View Hospital. In areas that are served by the Select Health health plan, most residents are within a 15 minute drive to the nearest Select Health-affiliated physician.
