As of January 1st, 2009, SelectHealth is raising its individual and family plan maternity deductible from $5,000 per calendar year, to $6,500 per pregnancy (currently $7,500 as of January 1st, 2011).
In the past, this deductible could be paid twice, worst case scenario, because the deductible was applied per calendar year. Although the deductible has risen to $6,500, it is now applied per pregnancy.
